Drop-In Center Staff

Position Title: Drop-In Center Staff
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Status: Part-Time, Hourly (approx 20 hours per week)
Salary: $15.00 per hour

TGRCNM seeks a Drop-In Center Staff member to assist the Case Manager, Providers, and Executive Staff with daily Drop-In center operations and assisting participants in accessing services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advocates for the mission of the organization and upholds organization’s values

  • Ensures participants comply with Center guidelines, policies, and procedures

  • Delivers services with safety, respect, and effectiveness

  • Assesses participant needs and offers assistance in every manner practical

  • Prepares meeting spaces, offices, and open spaces for services or use by participants

  • Maintains order and assists in keeping all assigned areas clean and free of spills, trash, and safety hazards

  • Checks daily activities and chores as assigned to participants

  • Completes all agency logs and incident reports in a timely manner

  • Provides immediate and professional response to any security/safety emergency or disturbance within or immediately outside facility

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Shift Lead or Executive Staff

  • Physical demands: Sitting, walking, lifting up to 20 pounds, reaching, carrying, speaking, listening

  • Work environment: An environment of high stress and fast pace of crisis intervention. Protocol for safety and security is a priority. Use of phones, in person assistance, computer, fax, and other general office machinery.
